What Pollutants are Generated in the Production Process of Silico Manganese Powder?

1. Dust Control

 

Source Control:
Use low-dust crushing equipment to minimize dust generation at the source. Transport raw materials in enclosed systems instead of open-air transfer to prevent dust dispersion.

Process Control:
Install sealed hoods around crushing, grinding, and screening equipment to create localized negative pressure environments, keeping dust contained.
Adopt wet cleaning methods on workshop floors, such as spraying water or mopping, to suppress dust.

 

2. Exhaust Gas Treatment

 

Heating Process Emissions:
If coal-fired heating is used, replace it with cleaner energy sources such as natural gas or electricity to reduce SO₂ and NOₓ emissions at the source.
If coal or gas heating remains in use, equip the system with desulfurization and denitrification devices, and add high-efficiency dust collectors at the end to ensure emissions meet the Integrated Emission Standard of Air Pollutants.

Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs):
Install small collection hoods at grinding equipment lubrication oil inlets, connect them to activated carbon adsorption units, and discharge tail gas only after meeting emission standards.

 

3. Noise Control

 

Equipment Noise Reduction:
Choose low-noise equipment, or install vibration-damping pads or isolators under crushers, fans, and other machinery to reduce vibration noise.
Enclose high-noise equipment with soundproof materials such as acoustic cotton or sound-insulating panels to reduce noise transmission.

Propagation Path Control:
Build noise barriers between workshops and plant boundaries, or establish green belts that reduce noise.
Plan equipment layout reasonably, placing high-noise machinery on the side of the workshop farthest from the plant boundary to minimize environmental impact.
