Products Description

Ferro Boron Powder, also referred to as FeB powder, is a ferroalloy material mainly composed of iron and boron. It presents dark gray or grayish-black fine metal powder. The product is divided into low-carbon and medium-carbon grades according to carbon content, with boron content ranging from 9% to 25%. Particle sizes can be customized from 40 mesh to 325 mesh based on customer demands.

As a conventional micro-alloying agent for steel production, ferro boron powder can improve the hardenability of molten steel. It replaces high-cost alloying materials and lowers production costs. The product optimizes grain structure, and upgrades tensile strength, toughness, wear resistance, cold forming performance and welding performance of steel and cast iron.
