Low Carbon Ferro Manganese

 

Low carbon ferro manganese has a low carbon content, usually below 0.5 per cent. Low carbon ferromanganese is mainly produced by blast furnace and electric furnace methods, and the carbon content is controlled during production. This kind of ferromanganese helps to improve the plasticity and toughness of the material, while reducing the impurities in the steel and improving the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the material. As low carbon ferro manganese has a high manganese content, it can effectively remove the remaining oxygen in the steel and improve the purity of the steel.

 

 

(1)Production of different types of steel

• Structural steel: This product can improve the strength, hardness and toughness of structural steel, and enhance its corrosion and wear resistance.
• Wear-resistant steel: This product can improve the hardness and corrosion resistance of wear-resistant steel, thus increasing its service life and performance.
• Alloy steel: This product can improve the morphology and size distribution of the intermediate phase of alloy steel, and improve the strength and plasticity of steel.

In the chemical industry, it can be used as a catalyst to participate in organic synthesis reactions such as oxidation and hydrogenation. It has good catalytic activity and can improve the reaction efficiency and product purity.

(3)Environmental Protection

Low carbon ferromanganese can also be applied in environmental treatment and waste water treatment. For example, in water treatment process, low carbon ferromanganese can be used as an adsorbent to remove heavy metal ions and harmful substances in water, purify the water quality and reduce the pollution of waste water to the environment.
