Iron Ore Shipments From Australia And Brazil Edged Up 19,000 Tonnes To 25.632 Million Tonnes Last Week

From October 16 to October 22, Mysteel Australia Brazil iron ore shipped a total of 25.632 million tons, an increase of 19,000 tons from the previous month. Australia shipped 17.434 million tons, a decrease of 1.032 million tons, of which Australia shipped 14.904 million tons to China, a decrease of 606,000 tons. Brazil shipped 8.198 million tons, an increase of 1.051 million tons from the previous month.

The total volume of global iron ore shipments in the current period was 30.535,000 tons, a decrease of 419,000 tons from the previous quarter.

Representative description of the sample: including 19 ports in Australia and Brazil, Australian ports: Hedland, Walcott, Dampier, Geraldton, Geraldton-Karara, Latta, Esperance, Cape Preston, Kwinana, Whyalla; Ports in Brazil: The samples of Ponta da Madeira, Guaiba Island Terminal, Tubarao, Porto Sudeste, CPBS, CSN, Porto Do Acu, Ponta Ubu, Itaqui, accounted for about 98% of the total shipments from Australia and Brazil.
