Product Features
1. The product is in granular form, with uniform particle size and moderate specific surface area, facilitating rapid dispersion and dissolution in molten iron, thereby preventing agglomeration or floating.
2. Sulphur can cause brittleness in cast iron. Manganese can react with sulphur to form manganese sulphide, neutralising the harmful effects of sulphur. It also regulates the undercooling degree during solidification of molten iron, thereby improving the effect of inoculation.
3. Compared to traditional inoculants, silicon-manganese granule inoculants contain manganese, which forms more stable compounds when dissolved in molten iron, thereby prolonging the duration of the inoculation effect.
4. The addition method of silicon-manganese granule inoculants is flexible, such as adding them with the molten iron flow during pouring, setting up inoculant channels in the mould, or adding them in the pouring ladle, among other processes.
5. Compared to high-purity inoculants, silicon-manganese particle inoculants have lower raw material costs and better inoculation effects, allowing for reduced addition quantities and lower overall costs.
6. The production process of silicon-manganese particle inoculants generates fewer impurities, and the addition to molten iron results in minimal exhaust gases and slag, meeting environmental protection requirements and reducing environmental impact.
