Product Description
High-carbon ferromanganese is an alloy consisting of manganese and iron, the main components of which include manganese and iron with some amount of carbon. It may also contain other elements such as silicon, phosphorus and sulphur, but the content of these elements is usually low. Electric Furnace High Carbon Ferromanganese contains a small amount of silicon, phosphorus and sulphur impurities, with a manganese and iron content of about 92% and a carbon content of about 6%-7%. Blast furnace high carbon ferromanganese uses coke as the reducing agent and heat source, dolomite or lime as the melting agent, the content of manganese is about 52%-76%, and the content of phosphorus is about 0.4%-0.6%. High carbon ferro manganese uses is mainly as deoxidiser, desulphuriser and alloy additive.
